Continuing its winning streak, British-based casino 32Red.com has won the prestigious Best Casino award for the sixth year in a row. As sponsored by Casinomeister, an online casino watchdog group, the annual The Best and Worst of Online Gambling awards a variety of awards to various online gaming sites. The awards are split between US friendly websites and intentional fare.
Founded in 2003, 32Red.com has won best global casino every year since its inception. One of England’s most popular online casinos, Red32 features games such as blackjack, roulette, poker, and other popular casino games. Casinomeister described Red32 as marking “… the standard most casinos wish to replicate” when they presented the Best Casino award. In addition to winning the best overall casino award, 32Red also was honored with an award for Best Casino Manager, Pat Harrison.
Casinomeister’s annual lists ranges from serious to comical, with awards like Most Annoying Forum Poster and Evil Player of the Year Award rounding out their light-hearted categories.
Other top awards went to Red Flush Casino for the best new casino of 2008, 3Dice Casino for best customer service, and the ubiquitous Cryptologic for best software. Casinomeister have been presenting the Best and Worst of Online Gambling awards since 2001.
Goldbetting was awarded the “Worst Casino of 2008”, with poor customer service and deceptive and confusing play-vs-real money odds cited as top reasons for the dubious honor. Other jeers for 2008 went to The Virtual Casino Group, winning its second running “award” for Worst Casino Group and Plum Gaming for worst customer service.
