Class, quality, and a sense of humor — what’s not to like about Cake Poker? Well, a couple of things, but overall I’d have to put them on my short list for recommended online poker sites. Great-looking, great-playing game interface, a website that’s easy to use and easy on the eyes, and a sense of community like few other poker sites on the ‘net.
Gameplay 9/10
One of the best-looking poker games I’ve seen. A joy to play, too, because all of that eye-candy doesn’t seem to clutter up the view or slow down the connection one bit. Poker rooms have little traffic — good news for the people who like to know who they’re sitting down with.
Promotions 8.5/10
Decent sign-up bonus, upping the usual ante to 110% match up to $600. They handle reloads and some loyalty bonuses too, and the freeroll situation is about as good as anyplace I’ve been. There’s plenty of prizes there for tournament winners, and the relatively low traffic means that it doesn’t get spread as thin as some bigger sites. All-in-all, they’ll definitely let you know that you’re wanted.

Customer service can be contacted via email and Cake Poker promises to have a response in 10 – 20 minutes. As well, Cake Poker has an impressive collection of self-help information, all very nicely laid-out — you might say, it’s as easy as possible to answer your own question.
Wrap Up
I’m personally quite fond of Cake Poker, and it’s only my overdeveloped sense of objectivity that makes me say that it may not be for everyone. The games are some of the best, and the bonuses are really quite good. As is, they’re on my short list.
