Casino King is a regal online casino with more style and elegance than we’ve come to expect from Playtech-powered casinos. Not that there’s anything wrong with Playtech — far from it, we’re very impressed with the software designer’s games and have long wished for an online casino that will do them justice. Gameplay 8/10

As we’ve said, the Playtech casino games are some of our favorites. They don’t go to the same graphic extremes as some online casino game software, but everything they do looks great and (most importantly) runs beautifully, even on older or heavily-taxed computers. With Casino King’s downright luxurious trimmings, these games have never looked better.

I am a big fan of Flash casinos, and Casino King has one of the best. Nobody need feel second-rate simply because they prefer not to download. Load times are quick and the variety is great.

Of course, you can download the software if you like, and those who do will get some extra goodies that just aren’t possible online. However, either way will get you realistic and detailed versions of all of your favorite casino games (the blackjack is exceptional, and simply browsing through the slot varieties is itself worth hours of fun).

Casino King is a generous monarch when it comes to bonuses. Your first deposit gets a match of 100% (up to $100) and then your second deposit is matched 50% (up to $200). Not many online casinos follow up like that.

Having been around since roughly 1994, I think we can be sure that Casino King is no fly-by-night sovereign — and if you need further proof, they use the same level of security on the website that is used by online banks and big-ticket auction websites.

Wrap Up

Casino King definitely has a solid shot at big things in the online casino world. The games are great, online and downloadable, the customer support is as good as (or better than) any online casino that I’ve seen, and the promotions are more than enough to make your money go its farthest. I’ve been hoping for a Playtech-powered casino that would make a clean sweep of all of my important categories, and casino King certainly did that.
