CDPoker might not be as big a name as as FullTilt or PokerStars, but it should be.  They offer some of the best bonuses in poker, with a hefty deposit bonus that is easy to earn back.  If that wasn’t enough, they offer a huge variety of games from poker to roulette.  This alone makes it a great draw for players who love to have the opportunity to take a break from the usual games and try something different without depositing to a different casino room.

Gameplay   9.0/10

Players depositing at CDPoker are in for a treat: not only do they get to play all of the standard poker games (Hold ‘Em, Omaha, Stud, and others) but a variety of other, non-poker games.  They offer games like blackjack, Caribbean poker, slots, video poker and more.  Their blackjack tables are excellent and players so inclined could spend their entire bankroll here without ever playing a hand of poker and not think twice.  Play is fast and the rewards are often excellent.

The other games are fun as diversions from the main attractions.  Slots are nice but there are some better options.  The roulette table is above average and remarkable for being so good on a client not dedicated to casino games like roulette, craps, and other chance games.  The others are fun but probably not worth more than a few minutes at a time.  Game rooms which give players more options than just the few basic types of poker seem so rare today and CDPoker should be commended for offering their customers so many choices.

Their software is decent, although the table graphics can sometime be a bit of an eyesore.  Otherwise, gameplay is smooth.  Finding a table to play at is simple and they offer excellent 250K tournaments on the weekends.  On weekdays, the tournaments are not as impressive, however.

CDpoker offers an above-average deposit bonus and draws out to improve their hand by adding awesome bonuses.  Players can earn up to $500 on their deposit with 100% matching.  Sometimes this 100% is raised up to as high as 150% return on your investment during special promotions.  New players should keep an eye out for these as it is easily one of the top bonuses in all of poker.  Even on its own, the $500 at 100% is one of the best.

In addition to the bonuses for the first deposit, CDPoker offers a reload bonus of up to $300 dollars.  This one is only matched at a 50% rate, so you would need to put in six hundred just to make the most of your cash.  However, most poker rooms don’t even offer bonuses after the initial deposit.  All together, players stand to make a free $800 – one of the best, hands down.

If that wasn’t enough, CDPoker has a great bad beat jackpot, bonuses for players who get a royal flush, and more.  Their bonus money accumulation is good, so players shouldn’t have too much trouble getting their free money.  All in all, CDPoker has a truly remarkable bonus system.

Customer Service 8/10

CDPoker’s customer service is not just good but constantly improving.  Like most online poker rooms, CDPoker has 24/7 e-mail support which they have thoughtfully broken up into different languages.  Recently, they have offed twenty-four hour phone support as well.  This is an excellent addition and we applaud CDPoker for continue to improve their services.

The only major hit against their customer service is the website.  It can be difficult to navigate and finding specific information about their bonus systems, payment options, etc. are difficult to navigate.  With bonuses as good as they are, it doesn’t make sense for it to be so difficult to figure out what CDPoker is offering.  They however, are doing a good job of explaining the speed at which players will accumulate their bonuses.

Wrap Up

CDPoker offers some of the best returns on your cash in online poker.  It doesn’t have the action or the tournaments you’ll find on Full Tilt or PokerStars, but it does have more games and great bonuses.  Players might find themselves occasionally confused as to what to do due to their poor documentation but experienced players should be able to figure things out fairly quickly.

The developers and management of CDPoker have shown a real commitment towards building their brand and keeping players happy.  Hopefully the poker client will be improved in the future, but with so many games and nearly perfect bonuses the garish graphics are at best a small nuisance.  Players planning to put some serious cash into their poker bankroll should look to CDPoker as one of their best bets.
