The Expekt brand is looking to corner the gambling market; along with the widely-respected sports book that brought them fame and fortune, you now have Expekt Poker and Expekt Bingo — excelling in two very different areas. However, our focus is on casino-related concerns at the moment, so we’ll be taking a look at Expekt Casino to see if they measure up.

Even that narrow range turns out to be quite broad, as casino games can be found on Expekt Casino, Expekt Games, and the newest member, the Live Casino area. A single account will give you access to everything that Expekt has to offer, so we’ll consider everything fair game.

Gameplay 10/10

Variety is most definitely an obvious selling point. Even if you’re only interested in blackjack, you can find over a dozen variants on the downloadable Casino (including a few multi-hand games), nearly as many in the Instant Casino options, another multi-hand version on the Games side, and a real-time full-video version with the Live Dealer option (and even some blackjack over on the poker section — which we’re not really including in our review, of course).

And then there’s slots. Hundreds of them, from the classic fruit machines and one-armed bandits all the way to 21st Century superslots with bonus features and animated symbols and all sorts of newfangled jackpot opportunities — such as the world’s largest progressive network, including the record-breaking Mega Moolah. Slots players truly have everything and more at Expekt…I suppose you could complain about no live dealer options for the slot machines, but that would just be silly.

We haven’t even scratched the surface. Speaking of which, the Games section has a number of scratch card, keno, bingo and sports games, as well as intriguingly different casino-themed games (we were mesmerized by the Video Roulette, and we don’t mesmerize easily). Back on the Casino pages, you have more video poker than Vegas, more roulette than the Riviera, and more craps than (finish bad joke here).

There’s certainly no shortage of creative and generous offers in the Poker section, so we know the marketing minds at Expekt are up to the task.

Customer Service 8/10

As with promotions, customer service at Expekt is something of a mixed bag as they only offer email. Don’t get us wrong, it’s very high-quality email support, with guaranteed 1 hour processing and several individual departments to get your question to the proper people on the first try. With support for over 20 languages on a 24/7 schedule, you will be heard and answered no matter when or how you phrase your question. On the other hand, we’re so used to seeing telephone numbers and live chat options that we can’t help but feel that a more instant contact method is lacking.

Still, the software is seriously stable and the security is rock-solid, so fewer people will ever have an issue in the first place. The FAQs are also quite comprehensive, although we found the pop-up implementation to be slightly less user-friendly than some. Still, there is enough information there to cover 99% of the common problems…leaving the excellent 24/7 email system to handle that missing 1%.

Wrap Up

Well, we’ve restrained ourselves from making an ‘Expekt the Unexpekted’ or some other feeble joke of that kind, so we believe we deserve a reward. Our choice of reward? To return to Expekt and play around some more, without having to worry about gathering the details for you lot. We’ve tried to hammer home the ‘variety’ angle, but the truth is that there is still so much that we’ve only glimpsed — Expekt will satisfy even the most fickle and attention-deficit players.

However, there is much more to Expekt than choices. There’s also reliability and reputation, safety and security, and (perhaps more importantly), serious fun and huge jackpot potential. Expekt makes playing so convenient and constantly stimulating that you may truly never want to go anywhere else.
