We’ll admit it: we’ve seen online casinos come and go, with nothing new to offer the industry or the players in quite some time. At first glance, the sleek and satiny black of the website strikes the right note. No garish Vegas images, no silly models pretending to be players, just an inviting surface and one-click navigation. We’ve seen casino sites that are easy to use, and we’ve seen sites designed to impress with visuals, but Lock Casino is possibly the first to do both; we’ve simply never seen an online casino that makes being user-friendly look so good.

‘Looks aren’t everything,’ you may say, and you’re (mostly) correct. Lock Casino wouldn’t be worth your time if you didn’t get plenty of great casino games. Luckily, they’ve teamed up with Real Time Gaming (RTG), arguably the best of the online casino software developers that power US-friendly online casinos. RTG software provides everything from classic fruit machines and essential table games to state-of-the-art progressive slots with full video bonus rounds. Not simply a few examples of the games, either; whether you need Mac or PC versions, you’ll get plenty of options (just look at the number of blackjack or video poker games, for example!).

The new online casinos always offer the best promotions; this is one of the few areas in which Lock Casino sees no need to change the paradigm. The Welcome Bonus offers a possible $2,500 spread out over five 100% deposit-matching bonuses up to $500 each.

After one session with Anna on the Live Chat, we had to raise our standards; she was impeccably professional, friendly, and helpful on every picky little question we threw at her — a real class act.

Lock Casino also offers a perfectly useful FAQ and other website resources, as well as the good old email for those longer questions.

Wrap Up

Well, here’s where we come up with some flaws — with Lock Casino, no easy task! As a new casino, we can’t rely on past practices and reputation (which, admittedly, has fooled us from time to time). The Flash-based demo gave us one or two little issues, but the Instant Play was bug-free (and the download versions were even better). We’re creatures of habit, and the slightly-different way of doing things at Lock Casino gave us a very brief learning curve — though it won’t be an issue at all for new players, or older players who aren’t as slow as we!

Honestly, Lock Casino is one of the best new online casinos that we’ve seen in some time. The look is instantly impressive, followed right away with unique features (the Mac download, the intuitive lobby system) and amazingly-helpful support. If Lock Casino continues this excellence, they’ll be at the top of the list in no time — already, we’re struggling to think of another US-friendly casino that we’d recommend more.
