Pity the poor US player. With fewer options than much of the rest of the world, US players must suffer through a lack of games and dated software, right?

Not so fast. If WinPalace is any indication, perhaps the US should be pitying us. With a huge selection of the best RTG games, backed up by round-the-clock customer support and the highest of high-tech security and privacy controls, WinPalace should be just what the Americans need.

So is it a Grand Palace, a Summer Palace, or merely a Bust…of Pallas…get it? Oh, never mind…

Gameplay 8.5/10

We’ll assume for the monet that you don’t know that RTG (RealTime Gaming) is arguably the best software developer to serve the US market…which could mean a few things, but in this case it’s a definite compliment. The mundane tasks (downloading, installing, browsing and launching games, accounting) are so user-friendly and easy they put most software packages to shame (and we’re not simply referring to online casino software, either!).

But the software really shines when it comes to the games. RTG has never been a slouch in the variety or the quality department, and years of refinement, experience, and new technology has made this a praiseworthy collection of casino classics and brand-new favorites.

Our crew has different tastes, but each found an area just for them. Our blackjack fan was blown away by the 21 games (we’d call him a Pontoon fan but most people would just picture him in a swimsuit and run away), and our resident video poker player couldn’t say enough good things about the selection. Of course, we all adore the slots variety (though at least one of us missed the progressive jackpots), and each of us has an exotic favorite or intriguing new game to explore.

Promotions 8/10

The best part of WinPalace’s promotions is the variety. You’d expect the Welcome Bonus, and this one is great: 200%, up to $500, and you can get it on your first TWO deposits. A 30x playthrough requirement applies, which is pretty much par for the online casino course these days.

However, the bonuses keep going. Slots fans? You get a 300% bonus up to $3000 (and let’s face it, slots are the fastest path to clearing bonuses anyway!). Video Poker fans? 100% up to $500…which sounds like a letdown after those first two, but that’s only until you realize that you can redeem the bonus TEN TIMES (sure sounds like $5,000 to me!). Blackjack fans? Same deal (100% up to $500, x10). Hmm, it looks like the three of us are sorted, then.

Customer Service 8/10

WinPalace has all of the expected help formats: FAQ (a bit more detailed and extensive than many) and email. But the “24/7 live” help goes the extra mile with multiple toll-free telephone numbers (pretty much anyone in North America of Europe has a number specifically for them, and Australia too!) as well as live chat that you can access from anywhere that you can connect to the ‘net.

We’re used to lowering our standards a bit when it comes to customer support…and by that I mean that we feel lucky when we don’t get shouted at. But Winpalace is a good argument for raising our standards again, because we only ever encountered polite and helpful people. Very Good Sign!

Wrap Up

When we first heard of Winpalace, we thought it might be another one of Microsoft’s harebrained schemes. But in this case, “win” really means “win”, as in “win big”. We like to think that the “palace” part means that there are so many games that they could fill a very roomy royal abode.

But regardless, Winpalace is outstanding in the field of US-friendly online casinos. We’d happily put it up against any of our other “Top Ten” favorites, and we’re willing to bet that it will do just about anything that any of the others can do, and maybe add a bit of extra class and user-friendliness along the way. We have no hesitation calling Winpalace one of our Recommended US Casinos.
