Not too many years ago, “no deposit” was a term mainly applied to non-returnable beverage containers. Since the advent of the World Wide Web and online gaming, however, we now have a term called “No Deposit Slots.” What exactly are no deposit slots, anyway?
Typically, when you register to play slots (or any other game of chance) with an online casino, you are required to place a small deposit with them (anywhere from $10 [US] or so, up to a couple of hundred dollars [US], depending upon the level of play you’re anticipating) onto a credit or debit card. In our hypothetical example, let’s say you put up a $100 deposit and decide to play the 25 cent online slot machines. Now let’s suppose that at the end of your session, you had a net loss of $18.75 (US). The $18.75 would be deducted from your deposit. Now let’s say that in your next session, you walk away with a net win of 366.25. That amount will then be credited to your account. You have the option of either cashing out, or leaving some or all of it there.
