Tip #1:  Where’s the B.E.E.F?

To improve your foul-shooting skills, remember B.E.E.F, which stands for Balance (get on the foul line and get your balance), Eyes (see the rim), Elbow (your aim is to to get your elbow under the basketball), and Follow-through (making sure you do so with a relaxed and constant release).

Tip #2:  Drilling It Home

No large spaces necessary.   Just start drilling if you want to practice your ball handling.  Keep your eyes up, and make sure to work your offhand twice as much as you do with your strong hand.

Tip #3 :  Built for Speed

Increase your speed with agility training, varying exercises between sprint training, and more advanced training drills, such as windsprints.  Start from one baseline and sprint to the nearest free-throw line and back again.  Move on to the halfcourt line, then back again.  Your next aim is the far free-throwline and back.  Finally, sprint to the opposite baseline and back.  Each time you reach a line, bend down and touch the line with both hands.
